Need a certified translation of a certificate or other official document? I am here to help. As a translator sworn and publicly appointed in Germany, I provide certified translations that meet the strict requirements of authorities and courts, both in Germany and internationally.

3. Receive a non-binding quote and get your translation delivered by mail (post) and/or email.

Typical fees

The prices above are intended as a guide. For further examples, please see my price list.
The final price depends, among other things, on the amount of text and the document layout. If you have several documents translated at the same time, the total price may be lower.
Before I begin the translation, you will always receive a fixed quotation.

Will my translation be accepted?

As a sworn and publicly appointed translator, I prepare certified translations for official use.

My translations are regularly submitted to German authorities, for example:

• Ausländerbehörde
• Bürgeramt
• courts
• Standesamt
• universities

Foreign authorities also accept certified translations prepared by German sworn translators.

All documents and personal information are treated as strictly confidential.

If required, I can arrange for an Apostille for my certified translation through the competent court.

Certified translation of birth certificates

As a sworn translator, I prepare certified translations of birth certificates into German or English.

Typical fee

The cost of a certified translation for most standard one-page birth certificates ranges from 50 to 70 euros.

German or foreign authorities may require a certified translation of a birth certificate, for example if you:

• are getting married;
• apply for parental allowance;
• apply for a passport or identity card;
• apply for German citizenship.

Certified translation of marriage certificates

As a sworn translator, I prepare certified translations of marriage certificates into German or English.

Typical fee

The cost of a certified translation for most standard one-page marriage certificates ranges from 50 to 70 euros.

German or foreign authorities may require a certified translation of a marriage certificate, for example if you:

• wish to register your marriage in another country;
• wish to remarry;
• wish to have your marriage recorded on your child’s birth certificate;
• apply for a change of citizenship.
